This is the Premium version of AutoIndex. You can try and use the application for free for unlimited time with the free version (see my other apps).
The Premium version offers additional features, such as:
- No ads!
- Vocal search and results spoken out loud (Text-to-speech)
- Unlimited bookmarks

Unlike the other apps on the store, this one works. Notice that developers of Swiss AutoIndex have made efforts to provide you an extensive and easy to understand interface in English.

It is also possible to look for owners of motorbike, moped, agriculture and industrial vehicles plates, including colored (for instance yellow motorcycle plate) and temporary and repair shop plates. (depends on the canton)

This application comes with the following additional features:
- Bookmark any result, and save it for offline viewing
- Save any plate owner as a contact
- See plate owner address on map
- Navigate to that location
- Call the owner
- Share plate number and owner address with friends, save to clipboard, SMS, e-mail, etc.
- Support for external calls from other applications (contact me)
- Out-of-the-box in the cloud automatic backup for bookmarks and app settings with no configuration. Retrieve everything when re-installing or when setting up a new device.

Some of the cantons provide a free service, some let you request for numbers with a 1 CHF fee, and the others usually give the information for free by telephone or e-mail (in which case Swiss AutoIndex lets you write an e-mail or make call with a single click).

*This search is done by SMS. Results will be included along others in the app. The response will be kept in your SMS history, so you don't lose your money in case of a problem.
