Tools and resources about ADVOs issued in NSW.
Avow is a FREE app for people in NSW who have an ADVO to help them better understand and stick to their ADVO conditions.
Avow is your ADVO 'resource in your pocket' and is completely secure and private. Download the app to:
- get information on what your ADVO conditions mean for you; read examples of how a breach could happen; and get information on what happens to you if you breach your ADVO
- add your ADVO conditions in the app so that you can quickly look them up whenever needed
- access tools to help you manage risks of breaching your ADVO so that you do not get into further trouble with the police
- get explanation on the court processes so that you can prepare and know what to expect
- receive automatic reminders so that you do not miss important court dates
- access a list of relevant resources and contacts, such as counselling services, legal advice, accommodation, crisis support, family services, financial assistance, addiction services, Indigenous services, LGBTQI services, mental wellbeing
