Beauty Gecko Collection

Gecko whose scientific name is Pachydactylus rangei has developed many adaptations for living in the harsh desert climate. Gecko has webbed feet, which allow to dig in sand or walk on sand. It also has an adhesive pad on the bottom of its foot that allows it to be an excellent climber. The adhesive pads on their feet have a row of plates called lamellae, which is covered with thousands of microscopic hooks like a bulge called villosities. This is to capture any small surface irregularity in order to help geckos in climbing.

Another adaptation that has been developed by this gecko is her eyes. Gecko has developed a large eye to help detect prey. These geckoes like most other geckos do not have eyelids, their eyes are covered with transparent scales, called spectacles.
