BloodLink, unlike other blood donation apps, is completely moderated by the admins. Registered users can initiate a request for receiving blood or donating the blood. A notification will be sent directly to the app administrators. They will then conduct a telephonic verification to authenticate and validate the requested details of the person in need of blood or who have shown the willingness to donate blood. Upon confirmation, a notification goes directly to prospective blood donors of the specific location and facilitates fulfilment of the need within the shortest turnaround time.
