BMoreSheltr APPLICATION description
BMoreSheltr is an Android application that is an extension of sheltr.org, originally developed as a website to find emergency services in Philadelphia. BMoreSheltr is a simple application that
displays a list of closest shelters, emergency centers, and food centers in the Baltimore vicinity. The application uses GPS to find the closest locations of these organizations, and can be used
without the Internet. Just tap once on "Search by Current Location" to find the closest emergency services located near you. If GPS cannot be found, tapping "Search from Inner Harbor" shows a list of
locations which are closest to the Baltimore inner harbor area.
This application was created during the 2013 Johns Hopkins University HopHacks hackathon.
