Bravura Browser APPLICATION description
Bravura Browser is an open source application intended to help Android developers use the music font Bravura. Bravura is the first font that is compatible with the emerging Standard Music Font Layout standard (http://www.smufl.org/). The development of both Bravura and SMuFL is being spearheaded by music technology company Steinberg. The author is merely a developer of Android music applications and has no official relationship with Steinberg.
The application can display grids of Bravura glyphs in your choice of font sizes, either according to SMuFL-defined glyph categories, or as the result of searching by name or codepoint. Both name and codepoint searches utilize Java regular expression syntax to return multiple glyphs of interest. If desired, the glyph detail view will display the glyph in relation to ascent, baseline, and descent font metrics.
