BTS (Hangul: 방탄 소년단; RR: Bangtan Sonyeondan), also known as Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member boy band from South Korea formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The name then became the Beyond the Scene in July 2017. The name was conceptualized with the thought that BTS would block stereotypes, criticisms, and hopes that target teenagers like bullets and protect the values and ideals of adolescents today. [38] In Japan, they are known as Bōdan Shōnendan (防 弾 少年 団), which is translated the same. [39] In July 2017, BTS added in addition to Bangtan Sonyeondan or Bulletproof Boy Scouts, this name also stands for "Beyond the Scene" as part of their new identity.
