Caffeine is the port of the traditional shell extension by the same name in the 🖥 Linux world.
-> It allows us to disable screen timeout with one tap!! 😎
-> It is a Quick Setting Tile, so you can only use this on a phone with custom quick setting tile support.
-> To add a QST, pull down the quick settings panel and click on the edit icon. Select Caffeine and drag it to the position of your choice.
-> You can change the default screen timeout to be reverted back while caffeine is off, by long pressing the caffeine tile in the quick settings
-> App Size less than 100KB. No storage issues :)
-> No Analytics! No Tracking! 😇
-> No Permissions Required!!
* Google introduced custom QST support on Android phones starting from Nougat (7.0+) and it entirely depends on the phone manufacturer to enable this feature. So, please check for the support before you install.
