A lightweight easy to use personal call recorder.
A while ago I had to do a lot of business via the phone. I needed something to record my calls. I tried some of the applications on the android market and while some worked they were all very complex. So I decided to make my own.
I have used this application for the last couple of months with tremendous success. This application will allow you to record both incoming and outgoing calls. I tried to keep it as lightweight as possible and I can vouch that 2000+ calls later I was only using 500 Megabytes of storage. Pretty small and usable was the mantra.
A word of warning though not all devices support call recording. Without getting technical some devices just don't have the hardware to record the calls. So I suggest that if you buy this immediately after installing it make a call and if you don't have any luck return it immediately for a refund. As much as I would love to support all devices I cant get hardware makers to bend to my will. It was recently reported that HTC does not work with the voice call setting but with the microphone settings it does. Sony Ericson and Samsung models seems to have no problems though.
If you have a business that needs your business cell phone recorded and that uploads and manages the recorded calls please contact me as I have a Enterprise edition available as well which will do just that. This version does not allow a person to manage the calls on the phone only listen to them and uploads them to a server of your choice(yes we integrate with everything).
Regarding if this is legal. Well that will depend on where your are living and the local laws. In some countries this might be a problem so I would suggest that you check your local laws before using this in a court case.
