Chopped was born through the love of fitness and lack of healthy food available to people wanting to live a healthy lifestyle.

OUR STORY

Chopped is the latest exciting offering from Dublin based entrepreneurs, Brian Lee and Andy Chen. The two share many passions - business, fitness, healthy eating and a burning desire to create their own unique brand and see it go worldwide.

As the Irish economy slowed to a near standstill at the end of the last decade, Brian and Andy started to look at a joint business venture and noticed a gap in the market as finding 'healthy fast food' was a constant struggle. They began to research best international practice in training and nutrition. Brian started suspension resistance training combined with fresh chopped food and the results were amazing as he transformed his physique.

The seeds for Chopped were sewn, a food outlets where people could go to find the exact food and meal plans they needed to fuel their training. And so Chopped opened its doors in 2012. The lunchtime queues at Chopped are testament to their success. Brian and Andy believe this hybrid can be used to target Ireland’s growing obesity epidemic. They are focusing on school and community groups to educate them about healthy eating and fitness. They want to create the next fast food generation, but this time it won't be chips, it will be Chopped.
