Community Bankers Forum

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond will host the 4th Annual Districtwide Community Bankers Forum beginning on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 with check-in beginning at 12:30 p.m. and opening remarks at 1:30 p.m. The program on Tuesday, includes speakers on a variety of topics, including a regulatory panel consisting of representatives from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The day will conclude with dinner and remarks by Matt Martin, Charlotte Regional Executive, Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Wednesday, August 23 will begin with breakfast at 8:30 a.m. and our keynote speaker, Sheila Bair, former President of Washington College and the 19th Chairman of the U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. That will be followed by a variety of breakout sessions and will the forum will conclude at 11:30 a.m. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions during each of the programs and breakout sessions. This event, which is closed to the media, is a unique opportunity to interact with senior executives of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and to receive timely and insightful information about issues in banking.
