Companion for Panic Attacks APPLICATION description
The PsyTech Companion for Panic Attacks is a mobile app to assist you in transitioning out of panic attacks and regain control.
The PsyTech Companion has a shallow learning curve so during a panic event you can launch it, plug in your headphones and start addressing your episode instantly and in a discrete manner.
Panic attacks are incapacitating because they temporarily seize control of the body, reason and emotions. With this in mind, we used these 3 factors into account: physiological, cognitive and emotional, to design a flexible, controllable and straightforward protocol that could guide you through a panic attack and help you regain control and transition out faster that without external assistance.
CUSTOMIZABLE
Knowing that feeling comfortable plays a big role in managing panic attacks, we want to provide you with a customizable app that adapts to your needs.
You can decide whether you receive verbal prompts and cues from a male or female voice (in either English or Spanish) or none at all.
