Congresso SIGENP

Alla fine di settembre avremo il piacere di ospitarvi a Milano per il 23° Congresso della Società Italiana di Gastroenterologia Epatologia e Nutrizione Pediatrica, a distanza di 11 anni dal 12° Congresso del 2005, che avevamo organizzato nella prestigiosa sede della Università Statale di Milano. Il tempo passa, e la sede si trasferisce dal passato al presente in una sede altrettanto prestigiosa che dovrebbe rappresentare lo slancio di Milano verso il futuro, all’ombra dei grattacieli del bosco verticale ed all’interno del cuore del governo della Regione Lombardia. Due simboli diversi, apparentati dal comune sforzo verso l’EXPO 2015 unitamente alla Università e alla Sanità pubblica.

Il rimando alla Esposizione Universale 2015, all’incredibile apertura di colori del Decumano, ha suggerito la lettura inaugurale del Congresso, volutamente finalizzata ad un ripensamento ai temi della alimentazione , alla sostenibilità ambientale ed ai rapporti costo/beneficio che vengono spesso sottostimati ma che sono alla pari degli alimenti stessi un determinante principale della salute psico-fisica, punto imprescindibile per il benessere dell’individuo secondo la Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità.

La SIGENP, la nostra SIGENP, rimane quella palestra per giovani e meno giovani che abbiamo visto in tutti i congressi ed in tutte le iniziative societarie degli ultimi anni, aperta a incontri , discussione e contraddittori anche forti, diciamolo, ma sempre estremamente rispettosi delle convinzioni personali, con la coscienza che la diversità delle idee rimane un punto di forza della Società stessa. Abbiamo quindi voluto sottolineare col titolo del convegno di quest’anno, Feeding the Future, non solo la contestualizzazione della lettura inaugurale, ma anche la necessità di mantenere vivo e ricco l’apporto di idee, perché il futuro sia rappresentato da un organismo in continuo riciclo e non statico e deperito. E questo sarà anche il filo conduttore nell’ambito delle varie tematiche, dalla diarrea intrattabile ai nuovi orizzonti sui probiotici, dalle novità in tema di terapia di fibrosi cistica e patologie intestinali alle complesse interazioni della patologie da overlap fegato-intestino.

At the end of September we will have the pleasure to welcome you in Milan for the 23 th Congress of the Italian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition, in 11 years after the 12th Congress of 2005, we had organized at the prestigious University of Milan. Time passes, and the seat moves from past to present in an equally prestigious venue which should be the Milan towards the future, in the shadow of the skyscrapers of the vertical forest and within the heart of the government of the Lombardy Region. Two different symbols, Allies from the common effort towards EXPO 2015 together with the University and the Public Health.

The reference to the World Expo 2015, opening of the incredible colors of the Decumanus, has suggested the reading of the inaugural Congress, deliberately aimed to rethink the issues of supply, environmental sustainability and the cost / reward ratios that are often underestimated but they are the same amount of food a major contributor to mental and physical health, an essential point for the welfare of the individual according to the World health Organization.

The SIGENP, our SIGENP, remains that gym for young and old that we have seen in all the congresses and in all corporate initiatives in recent years, open to meetings, discussion and contradictory too strong, let us say, but always extremely respectful of the beliefs personal, with the awareness that the diversity of ideas remains a strong point of the Company itself. We therefore wanted to emphasize with the title of the conference this year, Feeding the Future, not only the contextualization of the inaugural reading, but also the need to keep alive the rich contribution of ideas, because the future is represented by a continuous body recycling and not static and emaciated. And this will also be the main theme in the context of the various issues, from the intractable diarrhea to new horizons on probiotics, the other day in the treatment of cystic fibrosis and intestinal diseases to the complex interactions of pathologies overlap liver-intestine.
