Consui IPS Demo APPLICATION description
This software is part of startup project that is called IPS, or Indoor Positioning System, as opposed to the GPS, that only works outdoor. The visitors of airports will be able to download this
software, as per now, but this is only a demo.
When coming in, the visitor is being presented already with a list of possible flight numbers, but he can also key in his flight number.
The software will guide the visitor through all of the stages of an airport visit. Every stage is indicated with a little red block. The time walking to the next stage, is represented with a yellow block. The time goes by, and the blocks move down, unless beacons say that the stage is being done, then the visitor will have to go to the next stage, but may have some time for shopping in the tex free!
On the right of the first page, you have buttons like toilet, food or baby change, if this is what you want to do. Then, the software will guide you to the nearest bathroom, for instance.
By clicking on the indicators to the right, you will see a map of the airport with the route to follow to your next step and where you are, once to the right again, you will see a 360° photo of the spot where you have to go to. You can turn around, and you can also zoom in and out by moving one finger up or down.
There is a timeline, but the timeline works 10 times as fast, a minute is six seconds.
