COP - History APPLICATION description
The Pentecostal History is ran on the www.cophistory.cf as platform for education on the growth of Pentecostalism and its resources in Ghana and Africa.
Pentecostalism in Ghana started from the ministry of Aps. Peter Anim and other pioneers like Aps. J. K. Gyimah of Akyem Akroso in the Eastern Region. Their relentless efforts were blessed with the presence of an Irish Missionary called James McKeown who together with his wife Sophia, planted more local churches across Ghana and other neighboring countries like Togo and Cote D’Ivoire.
By the year 1962, the church has been formidably established in three denomenations. The Christ Apostolic Church, The Apostolic Church of Ghana and the Church of Pentecost. The Church has grown up to spread to other parts of world.
This app publishes timely accepted history of all Pentecostal activities within Ghana and Africa. It showcases Biographies of Both dead leaders and living Pentecostal and Evangelical Christians. Sampson Rockefellar Ampiaw is the Chief Editor of Pentecostal History and also heads Elive Studio Ltd. The techbrains behind this publication.
