- Batch codes are mostly short codes printed or stamped on the package with different font from the product specification, e.g. XLO25LA
How to find the batch code?
A batch code is an identification code assigned to batch of cosmetics. It may contain information such as manufacturers code, production date, etc.
Batch code is usually stamped or printed with dot-matrix printer. You can be confused with the catalog number of the product (Ref.) and EAN / UPC number (barcode), which also appear on the packaging, but these numbers are printed in a standard way.
