COVID-19 Guidelines APPLICATION description
COVID-19 Guidelines in an easy to use format, at the point of care.
This app provides information and quick links to the most up-to-date, actionable guidance for Irish healthcare professionals. The app was developed using content from the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Health Service Executive (HSE) and the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC). It is free to download in its current state, providing healthcare personnel with guidelines on COVID-19 in an easy to use format, at the point of care.
The ‘COVID-19’ app was published using the ‘Clinical Guidelines’ module of MEG’s quality management system (QMS). MEG’s digital QMS for healthcare consists of web and mobile modules, including:
- audit management,
- incident reporting,
- risk management,
- quality improvement & task planning,
- documentation management,
- digitised clinical guidelines.
It connects all the key components for the governance of quality and patient safety conveniently in one place.
MEG’s QMS is driving a culture of quality improvement by connecting frontline workers and hospital leadership with all the information and tools they need, exactly when they need it, using a mobile-first approach.
