Crash Notifier APPLICATION description
Crash Notifier automatically detects accidents and sends emergency notifications to your pre-configured acquaintances, allowing them to call emergency services in time. This reduces the rescue time
manifolds thereby increasing the chances of survival and saving thousands of lives every year.
Extensive research suggests that 6 G is a reasonable crash threshold for fast moving traffic vehicles but can be configured manually. Crash Notifier does intensive calculation in quick time in case of a sudden halt (possibly due to an accident) to determine whether 6 G threshold has been encountered.
Once Crash Notifier detects a crash (assuming that threshold has been crossed during sudden halt while driving), it starts a 10 seconds timer and sets off an emergency alarm. You can manually cancel the alarm in case of a false alarm. App sends out emergency notifications after 10 seconds (if the alarm is not cancelled manually) assuming that the vehicle has encountered a crash and requires immediate attention.
In case of minor accidents (or when immediate attention is not required after crash), you can counter the emergency message by clicking the “False Alarm” button. It will send apology message to the acquaintances and ask them to ignore the earlier false alarm message.
