Crazy Forest Girl

There's a giant tree in the jungle
that many have tried to chop
With axes, chainsaws and bulldozers
the final word's been - flop
so there hasn't been a soul
that has, to this madness, put a stop

There are stories from yester years
that there lives a monkey king
on top of the tree he dwells
from tree to tree he swings
as night falls, he goes to town
and steals, them precious things

This time around he stole a doll
that belonged to a little girl
Her mother didn't like it bits
so she decided to take a swirl

She stood beside the tree
and started hacking her axe
she chopped and chopped and chopped
and avoided the branch's whack
the tree came tumbling down
and the monkey king got a smack

Mommy took the doll back home
brought a smile to the lil girl's face
She came back home victorious
and, put an end, to this stupid race!
