Daftar Istilah APPLICATION description
Buku Pedoman Umum Pembentukan Istilah memberikan definisi istilah adalah sebagai berikut :
"Istilah ialah kata atau gabungan kata yang dengan cermat mengungkapkan makna konsep, proses, keadaan, atau sifat khas dalam bidang tertentu".
Dari definisi di atas kita mendapatkan penjelasan bahwa istilah dapat berupa kata atau gabungan kata. Yang berupa kata misalnya: fonem, morfem, daya, suhu, partikel, radiasi, inflasi, larutan, himpunan, dll. Yang berupa gabungan kata misalnya : hak pilih, hak milik, daya kuda, tenaga listrik, pintu air, tiang pancang, rumah pompa, kerja sama, anggaran berimbang, mata anggaran dsb.
Untuk mencari makna ungkapan kita dapat menggunakan kamus ungkapan. Untuk mencari makna suatu istilah kita juga dapat menggunakan kamus. Bukan kamus umum, melainkan kamus istilah.
Dalam aplikasi ini dijelaskan 18 bidang istilah, yaitu sebagai berikut:
1. istilah Radio dan Televisi
2. Istilah Perfilman
3. Istilah Pemerintahan
4. Istilah Surat Kabar
5. Istilah Industri
6. Istilah Kesehatan
7. Istilah Pertanian
8. istilah Perpustakaan
9. istilah Kesenian dan Kebudayaan
10. istilah ekonomi
11. istilah Geografi
12. istilah Fisika
13. istilah Matematika
14. istilah bidang PPKn
15. istilah cabang ilmu pengetahuan
16. istilah yang menunjukkan alat
17. istilah Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia
18. Istilah JNE

To find the meaning of the expression we can use the phrase dictionary. To find the meaning of a term we are also able to use a dictionary. Not a common dictionary, but a dictionary of terms.
