The bed or beds is a furniture or premises used as a place to sleep or rest. [1] [2] Throughout history, the bed has evolved from the kind of simple, such as mattresses filled with straw to luxury fittings decorated with fabrics. [ 1] Such as various types of other furniture, beds are often seen as a symbol of wealth and social class. [1]

Most beds with modern composed of skeletons of iron or wood (bedstead). [1] Accessories for beds added is a mattress for comfort, fabric cover (sheet), blankets, and pillows. [1] The bed can also function as other furniture , for example into a sofa when not in use. [1] the contents of the mattress can be straw, feathers, cotton and artificial fillers. [1] Most modern mattresses use springs, hard foam, water, or air.

At the bottom of the mattress, box spring is usually the (box spring). This box is a box the size of a mattress made of wood and springs that provide additional support and suspension for the mattress. The next layer is usually a bed frame that supports the mattress or box per above ground.
