DH Pilot APPLICATION description
DH Pilot from DHconcepts controls your ALPHA + or ALPHAmini bait boat
DHconcepts presents the DH Pilot, a mobile app that connects to the ALPHA + or ALPHAmini bait boat and offers a special experience in operation and navigation. DH Pilot is plug and play, just install and use it. No setup needed.
Just turn on your boat and the remote control and off you go. Unique and frustration-free. Explore and mark your fishing spots. And easily return them later to place your baits with precision. It is up to you whether the navigation is simply done using the tap and drive function and subsequent action, such as opening the bait trays. Features such as automatic return to home, control of the peripherals or monitoring of the batteries and much more are integrated and ready to run.
Main features:
- Mock GPS, to use the boat GPS as your device' position (you must activate it if you want to use it)
- Wifi echo sounder integration (default is Raymarine, change if your boat uses another model)
- Automated goto+ to hands-free bait up a spot, and to retrieve boat hands-free after
- Supports larger phones and tablets in all sizes, portrait and landscape
- Connection default is Bluetooth (other options supported)
- Check to auto connect once boat is successfully connected the first time
- Uses Google maps, supports Mapbox Maps overlays with offline maps
- Maps can be tilted for 3D like views, even with automated 3D driving view
- Map search ability included
- Google Earth KMZ files can be overlaid the map (depth maps)
- Wide range of icons to select and configure to control boat servos
- Control servos as switch, momentary switch and even as a dimmer
- Fully selectable range of telemetry metrics for the boat
- Efficient single-click to send the boat to any spot
- Ability to slow down boat before target to increase baiting precision
- Control how mode is changed once the target is reached
- On-screen joystick for manual driving

Note on Wifi Echo Sounders in general if your boat was not equipped with a Raymarine:
- Connect to the Echo Sounder Wifi first.
- Then enter the Echo Sounder IP address and port in app settings
Echo Sounder IP address is usually equal to the Android device "gateway" address after the wifi is connected.
