Indian Abacus Mental Arithmetic Education for Brain skills:
The Abacus over the last 2000 years had evolved to the modern but still a manual version popularly called Zhusuan or Soroban. This version of the Abacus which actually brought popularity for the Abacus education in the last decade has inadequacies in its design characteristics which made it difficult for a student of mediocre skills to learn. Abacus- based computation works with the single idea of visualization of pictures (beads / images). Indian Abacus makes the visualization process more efficient by utilizing colour images that leave stronger impressions in the brain, thus increasing memory retention. Stronger images strengthen concentration by minimizing distraction.
Indian Abacus Mental Arithmetic System is a whole brain development program for children aged 5-13 years. Children enrolled at an Indian Abacus centre are transferable to any Indian Abacus branch throughout world. Every year, meritorious students are eligible to participate in International Abacus and Mental Arithmetic competitions. Using Indian Abacus-Non Digital: How to Start On-line Learning, Practicing and taking assessments:
Sit before the computer (PC or Laptop) with the internet / Wi-Fi connection and switch on the computer and access the Online Indian Abacus site (www.indianabacus.in) to start working, using Indian Abacus - Non Digital with the computer / laptop / Taplets, you have to read the value/answer looking at the colour images on the Abacus and enter the answer each time on the web-page answer slot by keying in the same using the computer key board. Mouse wherever necessary has to be used. The cursor on the web-page to the appropriate location will automatically move. All Web-based operations and data storage after the submission of the answers are common.
