Dinosaur Sounds

Dinosaur Sounds is more than just an app with dinosaur sound effects. There are dinosaur animations, dinosaur pictures and a 4-level sliding puzzle featuring cartoon dinosaurs. If you know someone who is fascinated when hearing dinosaur sounds roaring, this is the app to have in their Android device!

There are 4 tabs at the upper menu for easy navigation across this app's features. They are labelled as SOUNDS, PHOTOS, PUZZLE and CONTACT.

Under the SOUNDS tab you will find a menu with 10 buttons. Each button depicts a unique dinosaur. Clicking on a button takes you to a page with that dinosaur animated against a natural background. If you click on the animation, a sound effect representing how that dinosaur might have sounded like will be heard. There are 10 different dinosaur sound effects you can listen to. Please be aware that one or more of these dinosaur roars might sound overwhelming to a very young child, so parental discretion is advised.

The PHOTOS tab opens a page that displays the picture RSS feed of a well known photo sharing website. Due to the popularity of dinosaurs, the supply of pictures is almost endless. Each RSS item is shown as a clickable thumbnail above the picture title. There are items are along 20 rows and 2 columns. Each time you click this tab, a different set of thumbnails may show. However, not all thumbnails might depict dinosaurs but the vast majority do.

If you click the PUZZLE tab, you will be asked to choose one of 4 levels. They are Easy, Medium, Hard and Very Hard. They split the dinosaur image into 3X3, 7X7, 11X11 and 15X15 square tiles. Clicking Randomize will shuffle the square tiles to a random arrangement but also leave a vacant space thanks to which the tiles can be moved around. Your task is to move the tiles in strategic ways until you form the picture you started with.

The purpose of the CONTACT tab is to send us a message if you encounter an error. We correct all valid errors and your feedback is important to us.

The Dinosaur Sounds app is intended for all ages above 7. It is a great source of entertainment for anyone who enjoys listening to T Rex dinosaur sound effects and those of other dinosaurs.
