What does the program include?
DiscoverHenrico.com includes a website, an annual glossy printed guide published during the first week of June, a weekly e-mail newsletter outlining special offers from participating DiscoverHenrico.com businesses, a smartphone app (available soon from the Android and iTunes markets) and keycards, both of which may be used to redeem offers at participating businesses.

What is the DiscoverHenrico.com Advantage Program?
The DiscoverHenrico.com Advantage Program is a program through which businesses set their own special offers for consumers. It is designed to encourage shoppers to spend their money with Henrico businesses and to reward those who do so.

How does the DiscoverHenrico.com Advantage Program work?
Businesses sign up to participate in the program, establish their own unique specials to offer consumers, and DiscoverHenrico.com promotes those offers through a variety of methods. A participating business receives its own individual page on DiscoverHenrico.com, on which it lists its special offer(s), provides links to its own website and/or Facebook page, Twitter account, e-mail address, lists all of its locations and phone numbers and provides greater detail about itself. Consumers pick up a free DiscoverHenrico.com key card or download the free DiscoverHenrico.com smartphone app to locate offers, then visit participating businesses and present the key card or smartphone app to receive the specified offer.

Each member and sponsor receives the following benefits:
• An individual page for its business on DiscoverHenrico.com, including a logo, links to its business website, e-mail address and Facebook and Twitter accounts, as well as a spot within the page to promote a special offer for DiscoverHenrico.com keycard holders and smartphone app users;

• Inclusion in a weekly e-mail newsletter distributed to more than 10,000 recipients (featuring the business name and a link directly to its page on DiscoverHenrico.com);

• Inclusion of its logo along with other member and sponsor logos in DiscoverHenrico.com print advertisements in the Henrico Citizen newspaper (published twice monthly);

• A full-color advertisement in the DiscoverHenrico.com glossy printed guide (size of ad varies according to participation level; guide published annually in September with a circulation of 25,000+ copies);

• DiscoverHenrico.com posters and stickers to display at its business location to increase awareness about the program;

• A specified number of DiscoverHenrico.com keycards for distribution to customers (number varies by participation level);

• A specified number of Henricopedia.magazines for distribution (number varies by participation level; guide published annually in September);

In addition, higher level members and sponsors also receive the following benefits:
• A display advertisement on DiscoverHenrico.com, featuring a click-through like to their individual pages on DiscoverHenrico.com or their individual business websites;

• Inclusion in the 'Highlighted Offers" section of the DiscoverHenrico.com weekly e-mail newsletter, featuring their logos and descriptions of their current special offers, as well as links to their individual business pages on DiscoverHenrico.com;

• Inclusion in the "Featured Daily Offers" segment on the DiscoverHenrico.com home page, featuring descriptions of their current special offers and links to their individual pages on DiscoverHenrico.com.
