DomeCraft Tools

DomeCraft is a companion tool for Minecraft. If you play Minecraft and would like to create spherical or elliptical structures (domes, cylinders, round things), or you like to create pixel-art, this is the tool for you.

(To be clear, this app is NOT a game in and of itself. It is a collection of tools that will enable you to do things in the Minecraft game that are otherwise very tedious or difficult. If you read the reviews below you can tell from their comments that everyone who gave less than 3 starts didn't read this product description. Also note that it would be impractical to use this alongside the Android version of Minecraft unless you have multiple Android devices with which to work. It is more intended for those who play Minecraft on a desktop/laptop or console game system.)

The DomeCrafting tool supports spherical (same dimension in each axis) and elliptical (different dimension in each axis) geometries and both hemispheres (domes) and full spheres. You specify the dimensions, and DomeCraft will show you layer by layer where to place the blocks to have clean curves (obviously voxelated since you're building in Minecraft :) and good symmetry. Once you set the parameters, DomeCraft will even calculate the number of blocks you'll need to complete your creation. You can use this to create simple domes, spheres, cylinders, or other circular (or elliptical) structures.

The PixelCrafting tool takes an image you select from storage on your device and renders it using Minecraft color palettes (dyed wool, stained glass, or stained clay, or a combined palette including all three) at a resolution you select. It will then guide you in what blocks to place where to create your custom pixel art.

The PortalCrafting tool calculates the coordinates of the nominal portal location in one world for given portal coordinates in the other world. This is useful if you use Nether portals to speed travel between distant Overworld locations, or if you create complex maps with multiple portals.
