> The Story
“Welcome dungeon miner, your dear departed uncle Reg has left you this here mine in his will. It is unclear as to how your uncle met his end but suffice to say that it was in these very mines and we only recovered his boots! The will goes on to say that as his last surviving family member he wants you to earn your fortune as a dungeon miner, but be very careful as the mines are a very dangerous place and full of..., blah blah blah blah. You stand on the edge of the mine and look down into the dark abyss, a chilling breeze rises quickly carrying with it what sounds like a very distant laugh of pure evil from deep deep down, almost like the devil himself lives down there.
You shudder at the thought of your new task of digging deep into the mines but you cannot help but wonder at the many weird and wonderful things that lay undiscovered in the mines. Whilst deep in thought you are interrupted.
“Hey, I'm Jack Boomer, I'm a friend of your late uncle, I'm the one that recovered his boots! Sorry for your loss, Reg was a good dungeon miner. Anyway, I'm here to help get you started. I must warn you, there are whispers that the mines are haunted and inhabited by unimaginable horrors. So just in case you do come across some of the most foul demonic horrors on earth, go equipped, tooled up and ready for a fight! Don't end up like your uncle!”
