E-Summit '20, IIT Bhubaneswar

E-Summit is a three-day event, started as an initiative of the Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT Bhubaneswar. The Summit seeks to facilitate interaction among industrialists, funding agencies, seasoned and upcoming entrepreneurs, academia, and students of the participating institutes. E-Summit '20 will include a gamut of activities such as entrepreneurial guest lectures, workshops, and panel discussions with experts, startup internship fair, and investors drive. E-summit, as a culture of IIT Bhubaneswar, has proved its worth in depleting the Chasm that exists between Entrepreneurship and management. It is the stage for future Industry leaders and Entrepreneurs to exercise their skills.



Entrepreneurship offers a viable and proven pathway to economic growth and personal fulfillment. But, is it always about that? It's time and again proven that economic profits are not the only motive behind entrepreneurship; it's not just about the money-n-profit still. It is high time that we realize what does the future world actually needs. Is it just the profits we care about, or do we even care to focus on the massive necessity of improved education and healthcare facilities, innovative methodologies for energy production and utilization, and other new emerging solutions/developments? It's time to think beyond profits, look out for a change; it's time to think about the people, the planet and its resources; it's time to take a step towards sustainable entrepreneurship. The theme "Shifting Paradigms: Pursuing purpose beyond profits " is to bring out the entrepreneurial approaches which can be used to solve social and environmental problems that would make a positive contribution towards the development of the society, while thinking beyond profits. E-Summit '20 aims to embed the culture of entrepreneurship in the young minds where they believe in pursuing purpose beyond profits.
