Eat Watch! Beta APPLICATION description
Based on voCal Calorie Counter's source, this is a simple voice calorie and points counter that uses Google Speech Recognition.
The UI is based on the concept of the "Eat Watch" proposed by John Walker in his excellent ebook "The Hacker's Diet." https://www.fourmilab.ch/hackdiet/www/chapter1_2_1.html
This app does not automatically adjust calorie goals which is left up to the user, but greatly simpifies entering food data and displays only a minimal amount of information on the main screen.
Launch the app and select whether you want to track using points or calories.
Next set the goal amount.
Touch the microphone button and say food and specify calories or points.
You can say HELP to list other available hidden voice commands.
