Shalat berjama’ah merupakan amal dan kebiasaan yang selalu harus diupayakan oleh setiap mu’min yang shaleh atau yang berupaya untuk shaleh. Ketika hal ini diupayakan oleh sekelompok orang, lalu mereka berjama’ah di masjid-masjid besar, ada kenikmatan yang terasa. Enaknya berjama’ah, tempat yang semakin rapi, suara imam yang merdu, bacaannya yang agak panjang, surat dan ayat bacaannya yang semakin beragam. Namun dibalik itu semua, ada kekurangan yang semakin terasa.
Ketika suara imam yang enak, bacaannya juga beragam, namun sayang, semakin beragamnya bacaan imam, semakin tidak mengerti si ma’mum ini akan bacaan dan pesan ayat yang dibaca imam.
Berbeda kondisinya ketika dia shalat di tempat biasa, meski suara imamnya kurang fasih dan kurang merdu, namun yang dibacanya dia hafal dan tahu maksudnya. Itu karena imam tidak pernah mengganti bacaannya, .. Itu .. dan Itu saja. Nah, untuk melengkapi langkah-langkah perubahan positif yang ditunjukkan oleh banyak masjid dan banyak kaum muslimin, maka penulis mengumpulkan 40 kumpulan ayat yang sering dipilih dan dibaca imam waktu shalat.
40 kumpulan ayat ini bukan dipilih penulis, akan tetapi dicatat penulis dalam perjalanan shalat. Karena itu, jika didapati berbeda dengan sebuah masjid tertentu, maka sangat mudah untuk dipahami sebabnya. Mungkin karena Imam di masjid anda hafal al-Qur’an dan bacanya berkelanjutan dari awal sampai akhir. Atau Imam masjid termaksud hanya hafal satu-dua surat saja yang dipilihnya sendiri. Atau ayat yang dibacanya merupakan bagian dari juz ke 29 dan 30 yang penulis kategorikan, semuanya masuk kategori standar.

Prayers in congregation is a charity and habits which always should be sought by every pious believer or that seeks to pious. When this was pursued by a group of people, and their congregation at mosques large, there is the pleasure that feels. Ease congregation, the more neat place, melodious voice priest, reading the rather long, letter and verse recitation increasingly diverse. But behind it all, there is a growing shortage felt.
