EcoLives

This project makes reducing, reusing, and recycling easier by reversing long learnt habits. It takes a motivational rather than regulatory approach, using a points system to reward environmentally responsible behavior and fines for not, and does it with today’s internet and mobile technology. All that is environmentally friendly is at the fingertips of the residents and even saves money for residents. All of a sudden, waste production seems unnecessary and a hassle. The purpose of this community is not only to reverse the thinking of its residents, but to also create a spirit of environmental awareness for people to carry even if they move out.
