Entre Gdańsk

About the Application:

Entre Gdansk is a city game in which players have to solve riddles that are placed on the most important Gdansk monuments. Thanks to the game, the user will learn the history of the city and discover its modern side - entertainment places, pubs and restaurants. Each solved puzzle gives you the opportunity to receive an interesting bonus or discount in one of Gdańsk's venues. You will need about 2 hours to solve all 24 riddles. During the game take a break and visit the recommended places.

The riddles can be solved alone or with your family and friends. The application (available in Polish and English) is dedicated for both tourists and active residents who want to discover the city deeper while having a great time. The game, where 24 tasks are waiting to be solved, will be saved automatically unless you choose another option (in the top right corner). Even after exiting the game and restarting it, you can go back to the last task.

Write your answers in the nominative form - do not conjugate words to fit them into a context.
Don't you know the answer to a given question? Do not worry! All the key information is localized on the monument, so you only need to approach it, think a bit and enter the appropriate password. Additionally, after entering three incorrect answers, you will receive a hint. There are 3 hints for each riddle, with which you will surely be able to solve the puzzle.

During the game, the user will be equipped with a map with a highlighted travel route, and to each task will be assigned a recommended place that is worth visiting during your stay in Gdańsk. It pays off to visit the cards of the recommended places, because there is a chance to get a discount each time. Remember that Gdańsk not only has historical values, but also culinary, cultural and entertainment ones that you must get to know. During the game, the user will also have the opportunity to learn interesting facts about each of the monuments. After unlocking the quest, the full history of the place will be presented in a pleasant form.


Instruction:

• After starting the game, you will be able to go to the user's manual (magnifying glass icon), which will explain the individual pictures that will appear during the game. Before the start of the trip, it is worth getting acquainted with the history of the city (castle icon) and checking photos of the main travel points (sculpture icon). Already at this point you will be able to start discovering the modern side of the city (city icon in the suitcase). Check all recommended places, but you will only be able to get discounts during the trip.
• After entering the password, press the padlock to check if it is correct. After three incorrect answers, a hint will appear. Three hints are waiting for you, and after each of them the mystery becomes more and more obvious. When the entered password is correct, the padlock will open and the history of the monument will be presented. It is worth to remember that the case sensitive of letters does not affect the correctness of the password and that each password is one word long.
• Thanks to the map, you will go to the marked route, unless you are in the first question - then you will be taken to the Google Maps application. By navigation you will be able to easily find the starting point of our journey. Later you will be able to choose to get to the place with Google Maps navigation or use an already prepared map.
• Discovering the modern side of the city is done by clicking on the detective's hat - you will turn into him. Next you will be able to go to the website, discover the route to that place and check if a discount is available. Read the description of a recommended place worth visiting while spending time in the heart of this beautiful city.
