Epic Yoga

Epic Yoga is the result of many years of practicing, studying and teaching yoga. Yoga is a calling for me. It’s transformed me. This crazy adventure has led me half way across the world to study with masters and learn more about myself than I ever bargained for. The definition of epic is “an episode in the life of a man/woman in which heroic deeds are performed or attempted… of impressive proportion.” For me, this is the story of the birth of Epic Yoga… a big adventure to bring a powerful form of yoga to Nashville and Brentwood.
At Epic Yoga it isn’t about having the “right” outfit to wear, or being a certain age or size. It isn’t even about being able to perfectly master the poses. But it is about mastering the inner landscape of your life. We purposely don’t have mirrors in the studio because we want you to focus on what’s going on in the inside. Unlike other studios, our instructors don’t practice with you, so their attention is 100% focused on making sure you get what you need out of your practice. Our instructors will support you every step of the way, giving you the cues and tips you need to keep your body safe and your mind focused.
