If you get in troubles with the camera, please check if your OpenCV Manager is up to date.
Tested on Samsung SII and S3 (keep screen on eye detection disabled)
Im getting lot of emails about problem with camera on your phone, before posting me email as bug, please check there, that is not OpenCV problem:

It demonstrates face detection, extraction of eye area, detecting eyes, creating eye template and template matching.
This app is just DEMO - as a quick example without building the tutorial code.
OpenCV Manager must be installed on the device to run the app:
