Introduction:
People being unaware of the use of mobile phones are causing great damage to their eye sight in various different ways. They do use phone without any awareness of blue-violet light filtration. They do not know about the accurate distance that should be kept between the eyes and screen. They are ignorant about the fatal use of bright screen in darkness.
Eye Friend is an Android Application designed to manage screen color, distance and proper brightness of the mobile phones. We cannot deny the mounting use and need of mobile phones in this era. It has become the basic need of everyone but people are not aware of the fact of its perilous effects on their vision.
Features:
This application has been designed to have three main functions which control the distance between the eye and screen, adjusts brightness of the screen and filters color. It saves the holder of the phone from the harmful effects of the mobile phones.
Following are the details of the features:
 Screen Distance
Screen distance is calculated through face detection with the help of front camera. This is necessary for calculating distance between eyes and mobile screen. This feature will provide Red, Yellow and Green alerts on top of the screen.
- Green icon represents good distance.
- Yellow icon represents good fair distance.
- Red icon represents bad distance.

 Brightness
In brightness feature there are both manual and automatic settings. User can adjust manual brightness through seek bar and also can adjust automatic by simple tapping start button.

 Filter
Screen filtration works on RGB and Alpha seek bar. After setting the color Alpha would be adjusted to apply that color on screen. Details are as under:
• RED
If red seek bar is adjusted then red color is applied to whole screen. All other screen color is mixed with red color.

• GREEN
If green seek bar is adjusted then green color is applied to whole screen. All other screen color is mixed with green color.

• BLUE
If blue seek bar is adjusted then blue color is applied to whole screen. All other screen color is mixed with blue color.

• ALPHA
When alpha seek bar is adjusted then all the color adjustment of red, green and blue will be applied to whole screen. All other screen color is mixed with alpha settings.
This helps the user to use mobile with filter screen from blue violet light.
