FBT12 APPLICATION description

The FBT12 App - the user interface for the Relcom FBT12 diagnostic tool.

The Relcom FBT12 is a diagnostic, troubleshooting, and commissioning tool for FOUNDATION Fieldbus. It is used to examine the operation of a live FOUNDATION Fieldbus™ H1 segment without interfering with its operation. The Tester allows maintenance personnel to verify segment operation or to troubleshoot an errant segment. A pre-commissioning mode supports checking fieldbus segments, including all device communications, before an LAS is available. Other features include the ability to assign device PD Tags and addresses. The FBT12 is battery powered and can provide power to a single Fieldbus device, allowing pre-commissioning of instruments on the bench or in the field.

The FBT12 is controlled using the FBT12 Android Application. The FBT12 App is installed on an Android phone with Bluetooth capability to access the FBT12 functions.
