The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-Earth is Kabam’s latest strategy game release. This beginner’s guide will help you understand some basic mechanic of the game to help you get a headstart. We will be working on more detailed guides more different aspect about the game with future releases. Current Release Notes
At the time of writing, Kabam has only released the mobile version of the game, this means that you can only play it if you have a tablet or phone that supports the App. However, Kabam is working to release the browser version as well.
Race Differences
Currently there is no differences between the different playable races in The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth. Race such as dwarves and elves all have the same training speed and building upgrades. The only visible difference is their graphics.
Understanding Your Troops
In a nutshell, this is a city building game where you will have to build up your troops to conquer and destroy enemies. Please check our The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-Earth Best Troops and Combat Guide for more information about your armies and units.
Protection Time Frame
At the beginning of the game, your City will have a protection during your initial stage. However, you will lose the beginner’s protection after 7 days or if you upgrade your Keep to level 5 or higher. This means that you should upgrade all the support buildings and only do the Keep as the last stage.
