“Friendswood Strong” 4th of July Celebration 2018
Get all the event details at your finger-tips. This app will provide you with event schedules, maps, vendor list, parking information, live feed, alerts, and more.
The Friendswood 4th of July Celebration begins at 10 a.m. with the Grand Parade on Friendswood Drive (FM 518) starting at Heritage Drive and concluding at Stevenson Park. Following the parade (about 11 a.m.), in Stevenson Park, is the Carnival. Admission to the park is free, but you must purchase a Day Ride Pass wristband to have access to unlimited amusement rides until 3:30 p.m. for $10. The Carnival moves to Centennial Park and will be open for business at 7 p.m. Evening Ride Pass wristbands are $10.
An All-Day Ride Pass wristband may be purchased in advance for $15 (Pre-Sale Price) in the Parks & Recreation office at City Hall, 910 S. Friendswood Dr., from, June 18 through July 3. This wristband allows admission to the carnival attractions at both the day program in Stevenson Park and evening program at Centennial Park. In addition to the carnival rides at Centennial Park during the evening program, “Chinatown” will provide free entertainment performing an eclectic mix of hits from the 80's, 90's, and today.
The fireworks display will start at approximately 9:20 p.m.
There is no public parking at Centennial Park. Free Shuttle services will be provided from Friendswood Methodist Church, 110 N. Friendswood Dr. (this is a different location from past years) and Friendswood High School, 702 Greenbriar to Centennial Park from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m
