GASTRO 2017

Vážení gastroenterologové, kolegyně a kolegové,

z rozhodnutí výboru České gastroenterologické společnosti ČLS JEP se 6. kongres ČGS bude konat ve dnech 30. 11. až 2. 12. 2017 v Ostravě. Krajské město Moravskoslezského kraje se tak po Brně a Olomouci stává třetím moravským a prvním slezským kongresovým městem.

Ostrava je centrem hustě zalidněné průmyslové aglomerace. Za První republiky byla označována jako „Černé město“, po válce jako „Ocelové srdce republiky“. Dnešní Ostrava je však rovněž moderním vzdělávacím centrem a to nejen v tradičních technických oborech, ale rovněž v oborech humanitních, včetně medicíny. Je sídlem nejmladší lékařské fakulty v České republice.

Místem konání kongresu je Clarion Congress Hotel v Ostravě. Nachází se v sousedství známého atletického stadiónu v Ostravě-Vítkovicích. Jedná se o moderní kongresové zařízení s kapacitou 1600 kongresových míst, disponující kompletním technickým zázemím. Je dobře dostupný ze všech míst Ostravy a v jeho okolí je dostatek parkovacích míst.

Program národního kongresu je tradičně kolektivním dílem organizačního výboru, který tvoří členové výboru ČGS a lokálního organizačního výboru. Programová struktura se v průběhu let pozvolna vyvíjí, je osvědčená a převládá názor, že nepotřebuje zásadní změny. Je ale pravda, že atmosféra kongresů je různá a specifická. Jako prezident kongresu budu prosazovat velkou programovou autonomii jednotlivých sekcí a pracovních skupin. Chceme přilákat co největší počet volných sdělení, která by měla v budoucnu odlišit národní kongresy od více postgraduálně zaměřených akcí v Karlových Varech. Prostor budou samozřejmě mít gastroenterologické sestry. Jsem si jist, že program osloví každého příznivce gastroenterologie.

Kořením kongresů jsou zahraniční účastníci. Ne jinak tomu bude v Ostravě. Již dnes máme přislíbenou účast špičkových řečníků z Itálie, Švédska a Belgie a pracujeme na pozvání dalších. Oslovíme rovněž gastroenterology českého a slovenského původu, kteří uspěli v zahraničí. Velmi se budeme těšit na návštěvu našich kolegů a přátel ze Slovenska, kteří mají do Ostravy blízko. Perličkou bude účast několika beninských gastroenterologů, s jejichž odbornou společností nás pojí partnerská smlouva.

Kongres nabídne prostor ke společenským setkáním a umožní Vám poznat město i region. Zcela specifická je oblast Dolní Vítkovice. Jedná se o významné kulturní dědictví, původní průmyslovou zástavbu, na jejíž dnešní podobě se podepsali zejména architekt Pleskot a investor Světlík. V současné době se jedná o 2. nejnavštěvovanější památku v Česku a jsem si jist, že její technickou krásu gastroenterologové ocení. Mimochodem, strop původního plynojemu, dnes koncertní síně Gong s kapacitou 5 500 osob, tvoří grafický podklad loga našeho kongresu. V Gongu se bude konat společenský večer.

V okolí Ostravy je několik malebných měst, jako je Štramberk, a krásné Beskydy. Turisté často navštěvují Hukvaldy, kde se narodil a žil Leoš Janáček, rodný dům Zigmunda Freuda v nedalekém Příboře nebo Kopřivnici s automobilovým muzeem. Nemohu nezmínit město Frýdek-Místek, kde se svou rodinou bydlím.

Kongres se již dnes těší velké pozornosti sponzorů, bez kterých nelze akci takové kvality a rozsahu organizovat. Je podporován Ostravskou Univerzitou a záštitu převzal rektor Ostravské Univerzity, hepatolog prof. MUDr. Jan Lata, CSc.

Je mi velkou ctí, že jsem byl pověřen koordinací nejvýznamnější národní gastroenterologické akce v roce 2017. Věřím, že Ostravský kongres naváže na dlouhou tradici úspěšných gastroenterolo gic kých kongresů a jménem organizačního výboru Vás srdečně všechny do Ostravy zvu.

Prezident 6. kongresu ČGS Dear gastroenterologists, Colleagues,

the decision of the Committee Czech Gastroenterological Society of JEP the 6th Congress of the CGS will be held on 30 and 11 to 2 12th 2017 in Ostrava. The county town of MSR after Brno and Olomouc, becoming the third and the first Moravian Silesian convention city.

Ostrava is the center of a densely populated industrial agglomeration. Under the First Republic was referred to as "Black City", after the war as the "steel heart of the Republic." Today Ostrava but it is also a modern training center, not only in the traditional technical fields, but also in the humanities, including medicine. It is the seat of the youngest medical faculties in the Czech Republic.

The venue of the congress is the Clarion Congress Hotel in Ostrava. Located in a neighborhood known athletics stadium in Ostrava-Vítkovice. It is a modern convention facilities with a capacity of 1,600 congressional seats, possessing a complete technical backgrounds. It is easily accessible from all points of Ostrava and its surroundings is ample parking.

Program National Congress is traditionally a collective work of the organizing committee, consisting of members of the Committee of the CGS and the local organizing committee. Program structure over the years gradually develops, is a proven and most agree that it needs fundamental change. It is true that the atmosphere is different congresses and specific. As president of Congress, I will promote large programmatic autonomy of the individual sections and working groups. We want to attract the greatest number of free communication, which should in future be distinguished national congresses of more postgraduate focused events in Karlovy Vary. Space will of course have a gastroenterology nurse. I am sure that the program will appeal to all fans of gastroenterology.

Spice congresses are foreign participants. Not otherwise it will be in Ostrava. Already, we have promised participation of leading speakers from Italy, Sweden and Belgium and work at the invitation of others. We contact also gastroenterology Czech and Slovak origin who have succeeded abroad. Very we look forward to visiting our colleagues and friends from Slovakia who are close to Ostrava. Pearl will be the participation of several of Benin gastroenterologists, with the professional company unites us Partnership Agreement.

The Congress offers a venue for social gatherings and allows you to see the city and the region. Quite specific region is lower Vítkovice. It is an important cultural heritage of the original industrial buildings, whose current form is signed especially Pleskot architect and investor Svetlik. Currently it is the second most visited monument in the Czech Republic and I am sure that its technical appreciate the beauty of gastroenterologists. Incidentally, the original ceiling gasometer today Gong concert hall with a capacity of 5,500 people, consists of graphic logos basis of our Congress. The Gong will be held a social evening.

In the Ostrava region is several picturesque towns such as Štramberk, Beskydy and beautiful. Tourists often visit Hukvaldy, where he was born and lived Leoš Janáček, birthplace Zigmunda Freuda in nearby Koprivnice or Pribor with the automobile museum. I must mention Frýdek-Místek, where his family live.

Congress is already enjoying great attention of sponsors, without whom the event is not of such quality and scope to organize. It is supported by the University of Ostrava and under the auspices of the Rector of the University of Ostrava, hepatologist prof. MD. Jan Lata, PhD.

It is a great honor that I was in charge of coordinating the most important national events Gastroenterology in 2017. I believe that Congress Ostrava build on a long tradition of successful gastroenterology congresses and on behalf of the organizing committee cordially invite all to Ostrava.
