Guess What Color

This free app offers three color puzzle games that can be played by all ages. The names of the games are Guess What Color, Color Puzzle and Guess The Colors. Not only are they highly entertaining, they are great brain boosters and can be played by all ages.

Guess What Color is a speed game that tests how quickly you can match the name of a color to the actual color, out of 2 or more. How fast you can do that is critical to this puzzle which is great for speeding up the brain. Click the first button on the main page, click Play and then pick one of three levels which are Easy, Normal or Hard. Your previous score appears above the buttons. In Easy you have to choose between 2 colors, in Normal between 3 colors and in Hard between 4 colors. Sometimes the same name appears twice in a row but the color in a different position so it can be quite tricky. If you tap past a certain time limit, you lose the game and have to start over again.

Color Puzzle too has 3 levels which are named Easy, Medium and hard. They separate the starting image into 3X3, 6X6 and 9X9 squares in that order. Once you click Randomize, the squares mix and you have to move them around until you piece together the original image. This works like any sliding puzzle and is great for stimulating both sides of the brain and promoting strategic thinking.

Guess The colors is a memory game that employs 17 different game cards. What's different about them is the color, of course. The game cards appear in one or more pairs on the game board. After you click Start, they flip over and all you see is question marks. To unflip them, or restore them into their original state, you need to click on matched pairs. The more you remember from before you clicked Start, the faster you will be able to finish the game. Don't worry if you can't remember all the pairs. You can still finish by guessing but we expect it will take you a little longer. Guess The Colors fascilitates short term memory and can be quite beneficial to sufferers of Alzheimer's.
