On Friday, Atari released its latest take on the classic amusement park simulator, RollerCoaster Tycoon Touch. The game has a similar feel to SimCity Build It as players are tasked with building the ultimate amusement park empire, with the Roller Coaster as the central attraction. In the game, players earn cards for completing various tasks. The cards have various amusement park related items on them like rides, food carts, bathrooms, repair facilities and more. As you collect different cards they unlock the ability to build new items in your park or upgrade existing items when enough of the same kind of card are collected. However, owing the cards isn’t enough. Each item that you build or upgrade costs you money - which is earned as patrons come into the park. You’ll need lots of coins to build your park into the amusement station of your dreams, so keeping your customers happy is important so they’ll keep coming back.
