There are different types of guitars and grouped into several categories. Here I want to share the 3 most common guitars of electrical (electric guitar), acoustical (acoustic guitar or more popular with guitar kapok) and classical (classical guitar).

Type of Guitar Type

1. Electric guitar
An electric guitar As the name implies, a guitar that requires electricity to sound. Genre that used to use electric guitar. Rock, Metak, Punk, Alternative, Blues etc.

Excess electric guitar:
- easy to play because of the small and thin fingerboard (fingerboard) and the finer strings of string than the rope for the electric guitar.
- wider music sounds can be added with effects such as distortion, reverb, delay, wah etc.
- Many variations or types of electric guitar forms. They are stratocaster and telecaster type (Fender) or Les Paul and Fliying-V type (Gibson). There are also unique guitars like double-neck (twin) guitar, 7-string guitar etc.

2. Acoustic Guitar
acoustic-guitarJ is also a popular type of guitar. The difference between acoustic guitar and classical guitar lies in the type of string used. The acoustic guitar straps are steel-base strings and classic guitar straps (including flamenco and bossa-nova) using nylon-base strings (1-3 straps even with steel, but nylon base straps).
Excess acoustic guitar:
- Can be played without amps.
- can be carried and played everywhere (except certain places such as mosques, burial grounds, museums and so on.
- Wide variety of music and all acoustic guitars "signed in" for any genre to play.

3. Classic Guitar

Advantages of classical guitar:
- Suitable for classical songs, spanish style flamenco, bossa nova and fingerstyle-technique.
- The nylon rope is thick, but soft and easy to play. In fact, appropriate for beginners.
- Guitar sound softer and romantic but passionate.
