Perhaps Imam Nawawi in collecting these hadiths is inspired by the hadith of the Holy Prophet narrated by Imam Ali, Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, Mu'adz ibn Jabal, Abi Darda, Ibn Umar, Ibn Abbas, Anas bin Malik, Abu Hurairah, Abu Sa'id Al-Khudhri [may Allah be pleased with them all] from various methods of transmission. that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: "Whoever memorizes from my people 40 ahadith [which contains in it] will his religious case, Allah will raise him on the Day of Judgment with the fuqaha and clerics". In another narration, "Allah will raise him up as a faqih and pious". And in the report of Abu Darda, "I on the Day of Judgment shall be an intercessor and witness". And in the narration of Ibn Mas'ud, "It is said to him: Enter ye which door ye like." And in the narration of Ibn 'Umar, "Will be written with the clergy and raised with the martyrs".
