Himalayan Kitchen Amsterdam

The nepalese word “Himalayan” is composed of two nepalese word sitself, “Himal” and “aalaya” where “Himal” refers to the high mountains for which, a landlocked country in South Asia is well- known around today’s globalized world as the world tallest summit of the world, “Mt. Everest” (Sagarmatha on Nepali) lies here where as the “aalaya” means area/range giving the sensation of those cold/fresh breezed, snow topped high mountains.

Our restaurant is named after those ever snow toppped High mountains as we are specialised on the cuisine around those ancient societies which relies on age-old art of mixing herbs and spices immuning dwellers to combat against freezing cold. Besides preparing cuisine with traditional approach, our years-experienced chef cook have enhanced taste & quality according to the available resources and consumer’s demand. We always try to use fresh ingredients to top-up the quality, refined spices to give unique taste
