Comment la Baleine a eu ses fanons, L’enfant d’Éléphant, Le Chat qui marchait tout seul… sont autant de classiques de la littérature anglophone qui ont fait vagabonder l’imaginaire des petits et des grands depuis maintenant plus d’un siècle.

⇨ Deux catégories d’histoires : « pour réfléchir » et « pour créer », qui proposent tour à tour à l’enfant des questions de réflexion et des activités plus « libres » (agrémentées à chaque fois d’exercices ludo-éducatifs).

⇨ 5 questionnaires détaillés (contenant chacun des questions à choix multiple et des questions à réponse libre, dont le nombre varie d’une trentaine à une cinquantaine, selon le niveau choisi), 1 questionnaire libre, 12 documentaires animaliers (dont 6 à compléter par l’enfant), 25 mini-docs thématiques (dont 6 à compléter par l’enfant), 6 activités créatives… Tous ces documents interactifs d’accompagnement s’adressent notamment aux élèves du cycle 3 de l’école primaire (CE2, CM1, CM2) et aux jeunes collégiens (6ème, 5ème).

⇨ Un dictionnaire spécifiquement dédié au vocabulaire complexe des histoires et documents annexes, contenant près de 1000 mots (dont certains sont à définir par l’enfant) !

⇨ De très nombreuses images : 63 illustrations originales de l’auteur, complétées par une vingtaine d’illustrations inédites (cartes, schémas…) et par une trentaine de photographies dans les documents annexes.

⇨ La possibilité de créer de nombreux profils personnalisables d’enfants, avec deux niveaux de difficulté au choix.

⇨ Un espace enseignant / parent à l’accès contrôlé, permettant notamment de créer des groupes d’enfants (exemple : « classe de CM2 B »), d’accéder aux résultats détaillés de chaque enfant, d’intégrer ses propres appréciations personnalisées, et de rendre le tout apparent ou non côté enfant.

Attention :

⇨ L’utilisation de l’application côté enfant nécessite la création d’un profil d’enfant (choix d’un nom / pseudo, d’une image de profil et d’un niveau).

⇨ La création d’un compte enseignant / parent dans l’application nécessite un accès internet et une adresse email valide. Une fois le compte créé, l’espace est accessible hors ligne, de même que tout le reste de l’application, mais il est recommandé de se connecter de façon régulière à internet pour sauvegarder les données efficacement et pouvoir les récupérer en cas de désinstallation/réinstallation de l’application, déconnexion/reconnexion à un profil enseignant, bug, ou autre…
