How To Make Pudding Shots

Pudding shots are an easy-to-make, boozy adult treat. A package of instant pudding provides a base from which you can create countless different flavors of a libation-laced dessert guaranteed to be the star at any social gathering. Adapted from Cooking Channel TV's Tropical Vanilla Pudding Shots, this recipe calls for vanilla instant pudding, vodka and coffee liqueur to create pudding shots that taste like a White Russian. Finishing by folding in a whipped topping makes the resulting shot light and creamy.

• One 3.4-ounce package vanilla instant pudding
• 4 ounces milk
• 1 ounce vodka
• 3 ounces coffee liqueur
• 1 cup whipped topping, plus more for garnish
Combine the milk and instant pudding in a bowl and whisk or beat with a mixer until the pudding is smooth. Add the vodka and coffee liqueur and mix until they are combined. Fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture with a spatula, until it is just combined.
Divide the pudding mixture among eight large shot glasses and refrigerate them for at least 30 minutes to set. When you are ready to consume the shots, add a dollop of the whipped topping to each pudding shot, for garnish.
