Huerto del Abuelito APPLICATION description
En Huerto del Abuelito disponemos de 3 cabañas de madera de pino nórdico totalmente aisladas y aclimatadas: amplios dormitorios, baño y botiquín, cocina totalmente amueblada, calefacción eléctrica de radiadores termoeléctricos regulables en temperatura, aire acondicionado, televisión, termo eléctrico de agua caliente, frigorífico, extintor, amplias zonas verdes, mesas y sillas de jardín, parque infantil, barbacoas (sólo se puede encender con carbón vegetal). Muy cerca de Alcala Del Jucar.
Las cabañas Huerto del Abuelito, cuyos nombres son:
• Don Quijote
• Sancho
• El Molino
Están inauguradas en Semana Santa de 2006.

El origen de Valdeganga se remonta a la época romana (200 años a.c., según Juan Lozano) para señalar la fecha de fundación de nuestra localidad.
Parece ser que había dos calzadas que se cruzaban en la vega del rió Júcar: una que se dirigía a Zaragoza; la otra paralela al Júcar conducía hasta Valencia, Denia o Cullera.
En el termino municipal de Valdeganga existe cierto paraje, lugar conocido como “El Santo”, que conserva las ruinas de la antigua ciudad de Vallislonga en la que, según el itinerario de Antonio, se hallaba la Sexta Mansión del Imperial camino romano que desde el sur se dirigía a Zaragoza, por lo cual se conservo de inmediato a la población un puente sobre el llamando Puente Torres, de indudable origen romano.
Las mansiones eran dependencias en las calzadas romanas en las que descansaban los caballos y se podía pernoctar.
Los primeros datos fieles, los encontramos en el códice medieval de Bartolomé Alarcón quien nos presenta la llamada entonces “Valdeganga de Jorquera” y que contaba con 33 vecinos que se dedicaban al grano y a la arriería y pagaban al año, en concepto de tributos. 57600 maravedíes.
El campesino de Valdeganga tuvo que satisfacer derechos a dicho marques hasta el S. XIX que se extinguen los señoríos, además debía satisfacer al municipio de Jorquera y a la Iglesia (diezmos).
La antigua ciudad romana denominada Saltiga, hoy Jorquera, pertenecía al Marquesado de Villena, situado en zona fronteriza castellano-aragonesa, constituyendo el mayor señorío que había en Castilla y que contaba además de Jorquera con tres municipios: Chinchilla, Alcala del Júcar y Ves.
Valdeganga, sujeta a Jorquera, se veía obligada a mantener un representante, el cual, durante el año que desempeñara su cargo, debía habitar en Jorquera.
El 21de Septiembre de 1722 se creo la primera parroquia de Valdeganga que hasta entonces como otras localidades era atendida por el párroco de Jorquera.
A principios del S. XIX, iniciada la Guerra de la Independencia, Valdeganga fue objeto de polémica al negarse a destruir su puente y el de Puente Torres ante el alcalde de Albacete, presidente de una de las Juntas que se creo para combatir al enemigo francés y cuyas tropas pretendía que no cruzaran el río Júcar: Valdeganga resulto triunfante.
En el año 1833 se creo administrativamente nuestra provincia, en la nueva división territorial, la actual provincia surgió de tres territorios a los que pertenecía desde la Edad Media. Parte de la provincia pertenecía a La Mancha (hoy provincia de Ciudad Real), Murcia y Cuenca.
Valdeganga pertenecía a Cuenca administrativamente y eclesiásticamente a la diócesis de Cartagena.
En 1916 aparece el primer sindicato católico, como forma de hacer valer los intereses de los agricultores, aunque los campesinos mas desfavorecidos no eran contemplados por estos sindicatos.
