La Compagnia Teatrale i Frastornati nasce il 2 gennaio 2014 dalla volontà di alcuni giovani castelbuonesi di mettere in scena la commedia brillante in vernacolo, poiché tra i tanti generi teatrali è
quello di massima espressione per ognuno di noi.
Il modello dialettale è, infatti, un teatro che alleggerisce lo spirito, particolarmente amato per la giovialità ed i sorrisi che trasmette.
Il gruppo è guidato da Gabriele Perrini e inizialmente vi fanno parte solamente giovani attori che avevano già calcato il palcoscenico con altre compagnie teatrali locali o gruppi di satira locale, ma presto entrano a far parte della Compagnia altri castelbuonesi, di differenti fasce d’età, vogliosi di mettersi in gioco con la commedia popolare.
Le commedie realizzate sono state costruite di giorno in giorno, aspettando bramosamente l’estate per calcare ancora una volta il palcoscenico.

Pubblico, senza il quale il teatro non avrebbe motivo di esistere, che desidera dimenticare la triste realtà quotidiana per abbandonarsi, anche solo per un’ora, all’ilarità e al buon umore.
Crediamo in un teatro come occasione di aggregazione e di ricerca, che sia luogo della necessità, dell'urgenza delle passioni, non un teatro di consumo ma che “consuma” energie creative e le rielabora per realizzare proposte formative e di spettacolo in opposizione a quelle mediatiche, facili e di rapida fruizione.
Un teatro da vivere non solo come svago e intrattenimento ma come momento importante e cruciale in un libero tragitto, personale e collettivo, di educazione all'arte non solo per chi fa il suo ingresso in scena ma anche e soprattutto per il pubblico.
Un teatro che sia lo spazio dove i sogni prendono forma, ma anche sguardo incantato sugli accadimenti e sul presente.
Crediamo in un teatro come luogo di “resistenza” e di sosta che si contrapponga ai non luoghi, alle aree di passaggio prive di energie costruttive, spazi del vuoto ai quali non vogliamo abituarci e con i quali non vogliamo convivere.
Un teatro come spazio pubblico in cui poter trovare un battito intimo.
Un Teatro come spazio di incontro e aggregazione, un Teatro come momento di condivisione e apertura, un Teatro come capacità di ascolto e di conversazione costruttiva, un Teatro come impulso di elevazione dal finito all’infinito, dal soggettivo all’universale, dal sé all’altro.
Un Teatro come strumento pedagogico-formativo multidisciplinare, interdisciplinare e trasversale.
Abbiamo iniziato il percorso, per poi ampliare il "terreno di gioco" soprattutto, dall'essere riusciti a “trovare” un luogo preciso in cui poter condividere, ancor di più, il nostro “modo di giocare”.
I primi anni ci hanno permesso di affinare lo sguardo, di elaborare “un gioco di squadra” più solido, di maturare una maggiore consapevolezza nel fare e nel proporre teatro.
La nostra compagnia non è certo un punto di arrivo ma, piuttosto, un “punto di sosta" dove condividere e fare teatro.
Siamo ciò che volevamo essere, ma cercheremo di migliorare sempre per diventare altro ancora, per cambiare restando fedeli alla nostra identità, in un movimento perpetuo, mai uguale a se stesso, come in un grande racconto il cui finale racchiude l’imprevedibile...
