Now, you can easily verify the validity of the red encrypted 2D Codes (QR Code, DataMatrix, or PDF417), found on the products or documents; that are and used to fight against faking, counterfeiting or piracy. Just start the App, focus camera to scan the red 2D Code and quickly see the result. App displays error message or garbled/meaningless text if red 2D code is invalid. If red 2D code is valid then Company Name (if available) and Product Description (if available) are displayed. Also, if additional information is available via a website then a “Continue” button is displayed. Click the button to see additional information which may include the ability for you to register the product to help combat faking and counterfeiting. If App displays error message or garbled/meaningless text, then product is a fake or counterfeit.
How to protect your product
• You print the secure encrypted 2D Codes on your product packages or you obtain them and affix on your products or documents. These codes are distinctive (red in color) for easy identification on a product or document.
• When a person needs to buy your product or accept your document, he/she first looks for the code. If the red code is not available, then the product or document is a fake or counterfeit. If the red code is available, he/she uses this App to scan the red code. If the scan was unsuccessful, then the product or document is a fake or counterfeit, otherwise, it's an original. The Mobile App also allows the individual to register the product or document.
• Anyone can easily verify the originality or authenticity of any of your products or documents.
