iYaden - East Africa

iYaden is an online Universal Youth Empowerment and Engagement Tool aimed at embracing Information Communication Technology (ICT) in supporting young people from diverse backgrounds get viably Mobilized, Organized, Equipped and Engaged. The Tool is founded based on an extensive research and experience of working with and for young people. Understanding and Internalizing their dynamics as referenced to their situations and circumstances. Besides its Holistic Definition of young people the tool explores creative, Participatory and innovative engagement mechanisms that resonate with young people and offers them an integrated intervention pathway that address they four key Youth Empowerment and Engagement pillars that include; Attitude Change and Identity Strengthening, Skills and Knowledge Acquisition, Access to decent Income and Subsequent Improvement in Livelihoods besides Promotion of Inclusive participation and influence on decisions at different governance and policy/practice levels.
